Graduate Student Affairs (GSA) fosters meaningful engagement and creates opportunities for graduate students to grow, connect, and thrive beyond the classroom.

In partnership with students, graduate student organizations, and campus colleagues, GSA enhances the graduate experience by cultivating an inclusive, student-centered community that prioritizes well-being, supports academic success, and prepares students for personal and professional achievement.

Graduate Student Affairs offers engagement opportunities in health and well-being, personal enrichment, professional development, and academic support. GSA partners with student groups to plan, fundraise for, and implement these initiatives, and supports North Haven Campus operations, including space reservations and locker assignments.

GSA oversees orientation for all incoming graduate students through Graduate QStart, an onboarding program prior to starting your graduate program, and Graduate Orientation, a half-day program that introduces students to campus resources and supports a smooth transition to your graduate studies.

Additionally, GSA manages medical leave of absence requests; advises Graduate Student Advisory Boards across campuses and online; supports student organizations; assists with commencement; and provides guidance on graduate student matters.

Graduate Student Affairs (GSA) serves as the central resource for all graduate students. The office is staffed by Gina Frank, dean of graduate student affairs, and Stefano Fasulo, director of graduate student affairs. Students are welcome to visit the office on the North Haven Campus (MNH-276) or contact GSA at 203-582-GRAD (4723) or gradaffairs@qu.edu. In addition, GSA holds office hours at the Mount Carmel Campus at least once a week in the School of Business in the Graduate Lounge (SB-365) and hours will be posted at the start of each semester.
