The JD/MFALP program is not accepting new students at this time.

Quinnipiac School of Law has partnered with Vermont Law School to offer students the exciting opportunity to earn a Dual-Degree Juris Doctor/Master of Food and Agriculture Law and Policy (JD/MFALP). Students in the program earn their JD from Quinnipiac and their MFALP from Vermont Law. The program can be completed in three academic years, the same amount of time typically needed to earn the JD degree alone.

This flexible program allows students to pursue their MFALP coursework online or on campus during the summer. A number of Quinnipiac law courses have been approved to satisfy the requirements of both programs. In addition, students will be allowed to transfer 6 credits of their Vermont Law MFALP coursework toward their Quinnipiac JD graduation requirements.

The joint degree requires a 34-credit program (including required courses), comprising: Vermont Law MFALP courses, Vermont Law MFALP Food and Agriculture elective courses, required non-credit skills modules, and Quinnipiac law courses (from approved course list) (up to 12 credits).
